By downloading, accessing, or using the QuietQuest^® mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

QuietQuest^® is a quiet time tracking application that helps users track their quiet time sessions, earn achievements, and develop a consistent practice of silence and reflection.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Submit false or misleading information

5. Microphone Permissions

The App may request access to your device's microphone to monitor ambient noise levels during quiet time sessions. By granting microphone permission:

• You acknowledge that the App will measure sound levels (in decibels) during sessions
• You understand that no audio recordings are made or stored
• You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings or the App's settings
• The feature is entirely optional and the App functions without it

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by QuietQuest^® and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the App and informs users of our data collection practices.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. QuietQuest^® does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

9. Medical Disclaimer

QuietQuest^® is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuietQuest^® shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
